The next generation of Microsoft’s Dynamics AX, redesigned for cloud and upgraded with Power BI, Azure Machine Learning, and Cortana, is available for public preview.

The company has confirmed that India’s Xbox One digital Black Friday Deals will go live from Friday. “India will get the Black Friday sale starting November 20, 2015 on Xbox Live. Initially open to Xbox Live Gold members only and starting coming Tuesday open to all,” a Microsoft representative said. As for what games to expect? A short teaser video on the site showed off heavy hitters like Assassin’s Creed, Batman: Arkham Knight, Gears of War, and The Witcher 3.

The instant messaging and video chat client from the company now lets users save video messages among other things. The Skype v6.11 for Android now allows users to save video messages. A user will be able to tap on a video message or a recording and save it to their device’s photo gallery. It’s a handy feature that many users have requested in the past.

Times of India: Global mobile shipments reach 478 million – Gartner

Driven by growth in emerging markets, global mobile phone shipments in July-September 2015 reached 478 million units, research firm Gartner has said. Micromax’s sales jumped over two-fold to 12.16 million units in the reported period compared to 5.6 million units in the same period a year ago. Samsung maintained its global leadership with sales growing by about 9% year-on-year to over 102 million units and was followed by Apple which registered 20.6% growth in sales at over 46 million devices .Microsoft Devices occupied third spot globally with sale of 30.29 million devices in the reported quarter.

NDTV: Microsoft Edge browser gets EdgeHTML 13; Blocks support for toolbars

Microsoft has announced that it has implemented a new rendering engine in Microsoft Edge, the new default Windows browser it introduced with Windows 10, to combat a number of browser-based abuses and attacks. The company says with the changes attackers will not be able to use third-party applications to install toolbars on Edge.

Gaming Bolt: Oxenfree launching on Xbox One and Windows 10 in January 2016

The Until Dawn-esque Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive indie game title, Oxenfree, will be launching in January 2016. The game has a premise similar to Supermassive Games’ as it follows teenagers who inadvertently and unwittingly open up a supernatural rift, and then find themselves facing the horrors within. “Microsoft’s commitment to curating and nurturing the most exciting new game worlds and then delivering them to millions of players make them the perfect partner to help bring Oxenfree to life,” said Sean Krankel, Co-founder of Night School Studio.
