Windows is one of the widely trusted and highly used operating system. The company is planning to introduce various changes for its users. According to Microsoft, Windows 10 will be available as a service since it is going to be the last version of Windows. Though Windows 7 and 8 users still have time till 29th July to upgrade freely to Windows 10 but later on users will have to buy license to upgrade.

Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online is a customer relationship management solution that is equipped with built-in capabilities such as social listening, enterprise-grade security, privacy and compliance. Bhaskar Pramanik, Chairman, Microsoft India, said, “In the first six months of our local cloud launch, we have seen 50 of top 100 companies listed on the BSE adopt Microsoft cloud to drive their digital transformation.”

The Eclipse DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be releasing for Xbox One and PC on May 19, 2016. Eclipse features four new maps: Spire, Rift, Knockout and Verge along with another Zombies map. Verge is actually a remake of Bonzai from Call of Duty: World at War. The new Zombies map is called Zetsubou No Shima and will continue the tale of the Origins heroes. It will also feature the usual array of secrets, weapons, traps and more.

Microsoft’s Bots framework was among the many show stealers at Build 2016. Finally, the company has announced that it will start taking submissions from developers for its Bot Directory. The company said, “With Microsoft Bot Framework, it’s your bot wherever your users are talking. Thanks for all the great feedback and input within the past month, we’re pushing hard and look forward to providing additional updates in the near future. Here’s a few screen grabs of the review process, including a look at a bot entry in the Directory (once it goes live). Get those submissions going, and if you have any feedback, we’d love to hear it.”

App developers now have an easier way to sell their wares to businesses running Windows 10. Microsoft said developers can submit paid apps for inclusion in the Windows Store for Business, a version of the online store for Windows 10, that companies can use to distribute software to their employees over the web. This means businesses have an easier way to purchase apps for their users and distribute them across a large population of Windows 10 PCs and tablets.

Microsoft has accepted an invitation from the UN Security Council to address a special debate next week on counter-terrorism and confronting “digital terror”. The ministerial-level debate is organized by Egypt, which holds this month’s presidency of the 15-member council. A Microsoft spokesman confirmed that a representative of the software giant will participate in the special session.

Microsoft announced that its latest Windows operating system is powering 300 million devices around the world. Yusuf Mehdi, Corporate Vice President, Windows and Devices Group, Microsoft, said, “We’re seeing people at home, at schools, at small businesses, at large companies, and other organizations adopt Windows 10 faster than ever, and use Windows 10 more than ever before.” The OS is designed to work on laptops, desktops, smartphones, Xbox One consoles and more.

The Microsoft Research video, titled ‘Pre-Touch Sensing for Mobile Interaction’, showcases how users can interact with a smartphone’s touchscreen display by simply hovering their fingers over it. The video shows how the Pre-Touch technology can intelligently understand the difference between similar gestures like swiping and selecting. The technology appears to use a variety of sensors to detect the position of the user’s hands as well as the way the smartphone is held.

Bharti Airtel has expanded its cloud service portfolio with the launch of Connexion. Airtel has also entered into a partnership with Microsoft for Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute. Yousef Khalidi, Distinguished Engineer, Networking, Microsoft Azure, said, “Enterprises are increasingly leveraging the power of cloud to empower their workforces and Microsoft is expanding its service for India and global customers. Our partnership with Airtel, the third largest global carrier, is a major step in this direction and we hope to bring in an integrated and seamless experience for our mutual customers,”.

Enterprises should have an easier time migrating from Windows 7 to Windows 10 than they did the last go-round. The migration-to-10 process will likely take significantly less time than the upgrade to Windows 7, but not only because enterprises can reuse most of the same tools and policies. Other factors that point to an easier migration this time include improved application compatibility.
