The campaign echoes highlights the key Microsoft services available on the Lumia 730.”

The Nokia Lumia 625, which was unveiled in 2013 at Rs.19,999, is now available on Amazon.in at Rs.7,499. The handset runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 which is upgradable to 8.1 version of the operating system. The Lumia 625 is powered by 1.2 GHz Dual Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and has a 5.0 megapixel rear camera.

HP Enterprise Services announced an agreement with Microsoft to integrate Office 365 and HP service delivery into one comprehensive enterprise solution. Under the agreement, HP Enterprise Services for Office 365 will combine the capabilities and benefits of the industry’s leading business productivity solution with the delivery expertise and hosting experience of HP Enterprise Services, including end-to-end service accountability and expanded datacenter locations to support the new style of IT.

Lumia smartphone users will soon be able to download the operating system update onto their handset’s SD card. Microsoft has revealed that this option will arrive with the Lumia Denim update to select handsets. The Lumia Denim update is Microsoft’s latest firmware update for Windows Phone 8-powered Lumia smartphones. The update, which started rolling out recently, brings with it the voice assistant Cortana to a few more regions, the Apps Corner app, and a range of improvements.

EA has finally opened its doors to its EA Access service that allows Xbox One owners to access popular EA Xbox titles for less. The service allows subscribers access to a list of popular titles that keep on changing from time to time.

After meeting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Communications and IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella said the company is looking forward to partner with the Digital India and Make in India programmes of the government. Since he took over as CEO, Nadella was able to leverage the company’s massive cloud infrastructure to create the most compelling services for consumers. This has been one space where Microsoft has been able to compete and arguably surpass similar offerings from Apple and Google. In 2014, Office 365 became Microsoft’s most valuable software product surpassing even Windows. Microsoft also began releasing a lot of its services as Android and iOS apps. For the first time in its history, it was embracing rival platforms, services, and even open source software to improve its own offerings.

Microsoft has integrated Skype into its Office Online platform for Web, starting with Office Online Word and Office Online PowerPoint. Users will now be able to participate in Skype chats, while editing an Office Online Word document or Office Online PowerPoint presentation. They will also be able to create group chats with Skype contacts within these two Office Online apps.
