Anant has served across industries in his career- technology & software, industrial, and management consulting. Currently, as President, Microsoft India, he is responsible for the company’s overall presence and business in the country.

Anant leads the team that empowers customers to digitally transform & scale their businesses, underscored by AI. Anant spearheads partnerships with policy makers, customers, business partners, and the industry ecosystem. Anant is passionate about Microsoft’s mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, aligned with India’s inclusive growth agenda. He is deeply committed to the journey of diversity & inclusion, especially in one of the most vibrant, diverse and exciting markets in the world.

Anant actively contributes to the industry. He has served on NASSCOM’s EC since 2017 and is currently the Chairperson. He is India Advisory Committee member of USIBC, National Council member of CII, Ex Chairperson CII IT/ITeS committee and is a fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Institute.
