Mithun Sundar currently leads change for Microsoft’s India business in the role of Executive Director – Strategic Growth Partnerships.

Prior to this, Mithun was the CEO of Lendingkart Finance Limited, a fintech focused on financial inclusion of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises in India. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of LFL’s business and oversaw ~$500mn assets under management and led a team of ~1000 people across India.

Prior to that, Mithun was the Chief Revenue, Marketing & Analytics Officer at Myntra (India’s largest fashion retailer with ~$2bn GMV). As part of this role, he has led several functions at Myntra, including Marketing, Content, Design, Growth and Analytics. Prior to joining Myntra, he led Strategy for PepsiCo’s South Asia businesses (Beverages, Snacks and Nutrition). He has also worked at McKinsey & Co. across several geographies including the U.S.A., Brazil, China, South-East Asia and India. Prior to McKinsey he worked with Unilever in sales and brand management.  

Mithun was inducted into the “40 under 40” list of India’s high-impact business leaders under the age of 40 published by the Economic Times of India.  

He is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher having completed the Sivananda Yoga Teachers Training Certification. Additionally, he holds a B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering from I.I.T. Madras and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
