Sarv Saravanan joined Microsoft in September 2019 as the Vice President and leader of the Modern Workplace domain within Microsoft Services and now is the Vice President for the Global Delivery Center Organization & Managing Director for Global Delivery, India. An integral member of the Microsoft Industry Solutions Delivery Leadership Team, Sarv leads the 1900+ person strong team, a strategic team that brings scale to innovation thanks to its deep talent pool, and rich industry expertise. Global Delivery is the delivery arm of the Industry Solutions organization and the team works closely with global Microsoft teams delivering Emerging & Growth solutions for Microsoft’s worldwide customers. The team also works with strategic GSI partners to provide solutions to customers globally. In addition, Sarv also provides leadership to our Global Change Management practice and Media & Communication Industry Service Line.

Sarv is the founding General Manager/Managing Director of Microsoft IT/Digital in 2003 and the Global Delivery organization in India in 2005. He initially joined Microsoft in October 1997, spent nearly 10 years in Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) and Enterprise Services, before moving on to taking on leadership positions in Dell EMC for 12+ years, which included leading the company’s Centers of Excellence across the Asia Pacific and Japan region before re-joining Microsoft back in 2019. He is passionate about learning and embracing an entrepreneurial spirit in everything he does. A testament to this fact was when he was commended and recognized as ‘a winner of the Leader Extraordinaire award’, at the 2022 Zinnov Confluence. This category celebrates and recognizes the leaders who have mentored and influenced other leaders from the ecosystem to achieve positions of eminence either in India or globally.

Outside of work, Sarv enjoys golf. His passion for giving back to the community led him to build Dell Digital Life Care cloud solution for delivering public health care to hundreds of millions of Indians.

He is a self-proclaimed calculated risk taker and keeps a pulse on emerging trends as investor, mentor and board member in technology start-ups.  What’s most intriguing about him, is his depth of understanding of local and regional markets, and a strong affinity for customer needs at global scale.

Sarv holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University in India. He is married to Shanthi and blessed with two sons, the eldest pursuing a graduate program in Boston University, and the younger son is pursuing an undergraduate program in the UK.
