Microsoft launches Surface Laptop Go in India

New Delhi, January 21, 2021– Microsoft announced the availability of the Surface Laptop Go in India from January 22 via commercial authorized resellers, authorized retail and online partners at a starting price of INR 63,499. Designed to power essential everyday experiences, the Surface Laptop Go extends the Surface line-up by delivering standout design along with the features most loved by our Surface Laptop customers at a more affordable price.

Combining performance, battery life, value and style, Surface Laptop Go is ultra-light with a portable profile comprised of premium materials. Whether for learning or working, the camera, speakers, and mics are being used more now than ever before. For families, students and businesses, Surface Laptop Go offers a premium Surface look and feel at an amazing value.

Availability and Pricing

Surface Laptop Go will be available from January 22 via commercial authorised resellers, authorised retail, and online partners[3] such as Reliance Digital and Amazon at no-cost EMIs up to 9 months starting INR 8,000/month[4]. Surface Laptop Go will be available in the following configurations:

Testing conducted by Microsoft in September 2020 using preproduction software and preproduction Surface Laptop Go Intel® Core™ i5, 128GB, 8 GB RAM Microsoft Surface® Edition devices. Testing consisted of full battery discharge with a mixture of active use and modern standby. The active use portion consists of (1) a web browsing test accessing 8 popular websites over multiple open tabs, (2) a productivity test utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, and (3) a portion of time with the device in use with idle applications. All settings were default except screen brightness was set to 150nits with Auto-Brightness disabled. Wi-Fi was connected to a network. Battery life varies significantly with settings, usage and other factors.
