Truecaller app comes with integrated caller ID service in order to achieve call-blocking functionality and social media integration to manage your contacts up-to-date. It can trace the mobile number with exact name and location and so it can be considered as a phone directory. Now, Truecaller app has launched the complete version of Truecaller for all the mobile devices running Windows 10 operating system. Also, the app has rolled out with a slew of updates for Windows 10 mobile devices.

For millions, Skype remains the go-to VoIP app for messaging and communication. But millions more use WhatsApp or Google Hangouts or another solution. For them, Skype has a new option: initiating a Skype session via a direct link. Users of Skype for Windows, Skype for Mac, or Skype for the Web will soon be able to send friends a link. Once they accept it, they’ll be able to launch Skype from the web and join the conversation.

Business leaders and IT professionals from across the UK attended a conference in a country house in Warwickshire to hear Microsoft reveal new developments that will determine how businesses are run in the future. Halo fans around the world will join together on Oct. 26 to celebrate the global launch of “Halo 5: Guardians,” one of the most anticipated games of 2015. Streaming exclusively on YouTube, “Halo 5: Live,” a six-hour live broadcast, will kick off at 6 p.m. EDT on Oct. 26 and culminate at midnight when “Halo 5: Guardians” goes on sale in North America. “Halo 5: Guardians” is the most ambitious addition to the $4.6 billion sci-fi franchise to date, bringing together a gripping story, deep character narrative and teamwork-based gameplay.

Microsoft is giving database administrators working with Azure SQL Database a new suite of security tools to check out. A new Always Encrypted feature will be available as a public beta by the end of the month. It allows users to encrypt sensitive data within an application using their own keys without relinquishing those keys to Azure SQL Database. It’s a feature that lets companies maintain better control over critical applications they want to keep as secure as possible.

Microsoft said XBox One will now also be available on e-commerce portal Flipkart. Xbox One, Xbox Live, Xbox One Accessories and all Microsoft-published Xbox One game titles will be available on Flipkart alongside Amazon.in. The consoles will be available at a price starting at Rs 34,990. “Over the last one year, through our partnership with Amazon.in, we have received an overwhelming response from consumers for Xbox One and Xbox 360 in India. Responding to this growing demand, we are now extending the availability of our portfolio to Flipkart,” said, Anshu Mor, Microsoft India Director.

Microsoft’s Skype for Business app for iOS devices has now been publically released. The preview on iOS saw a good response and Microsoft claims that the sign in issues that some users experienced with Lync 2013 on iOS 9 have also been resolved. An updated dashboard in Skype for Business iOS brings contact search bar, upcoming meetings and most-recent conversations to one place. Full screen video, larger buttons help manage the call. The user can also view content being shared and the speaker’s video simultaneously. The new Skype for Business iOS app is now available as a Universal app in the iTunes Store.
