As the General Manager of Global Parter Solutions (GPS) at Microsoft Malaysia, Sara Lua leads one of the most important divisions within Microsoft that ensures partnerships remain central to the company’s work and success in Malaysia.
From enabling businesses to recognize the need for technology, to supporting their digital transformation journeys to tap on new business opportunities and better solve customer needs, Sara is instrumental to drive greater success for the partner ecosystem that spans over 2,000 organizations in Malaysia.
Sara is passionate about extending the benefits of Microsoft solutions and growing the local partner ecosystem to small, medium, and corporate businesses to empower them to achieve greater business value through the use of technology.
With more than 20 years of experience under her belt, her expertise lies in managing channel sales and providing key strategies for the growth of her customers.
Prior to joining Microsoft, she was the Head of Alliances and Channels for the ASEAN market at Oracle NetSuite. She had previously also served at Sage X3 where she was the Vice President for the Asia region.
She holds an MBA from University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from the University of Western Australia.
