Datin Shereeta currently leads the Energy & Utilities Segment for Microsoft Malaysia, where she is tasked to nurture and leverage growth opportunities for Malaysia’s largest strategic client. This includes establishing joint business objectives, identifying net new opportunities and driving strategic goals through innovation. She manages and leads the customer’s partnership along with our very diverse partner ecosystem, in order to strategize on scaling the use of cloud and other new technologies to drive business growth.
She is also entrusted to orchestrate, coach and mentor various teams within Microsoft Malaysia, to help nurture and equip budding talents with the necessary skills and leadership qualities to further drive the nation’s goal of skilling the future digital workforce for a more sustainable and inclusive digital economy.
Before assuming her current role in October 2021, Datin Shereeta was a Senior Account Director under the Microsoft Asia Pacific team. She owned and led multiple business engagements with local industry players in pursuit of supporting the digital transformation for both Microsoft and our customer, and successfully delivered continuous business opportunities by ensuring expectations are met if not exceeded.
With over 20 years under her belt, Datin Shereeta has spent a substantial amount of time building her career specifically in the software business, within very large and complex client segments including Energy (Oil & Gas), GLCs, Automotive, Logistics, Government and even Banking. During her career, she had also dabbled in marketing, business development and sales operation roles. Prior to Microsoft, she was with SAP Malaysia for about 11 and a half years, after spending 6 years in Mesiniaga Berhad. During her tenure in SAP, she took on a wide range of leadership responsibilities including Strategic Global Account Lead, Director of Sales for Enterprise Accounts and Head of Business Operations.
Datin Shereeta graduated with a Bachelor of Computing, majoring in Technology & Networks from Melbourne’s Monash University and she also holds a Diploma in IT and Computing from Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling to other iconic cities and enjoys spending her time experimenting new recipes in her kitchen cooking for family and friends.
