Last year, Microsoft New Zealand announced a $1 Million YouthSpark grant for the High Tech Youth Network, to support their work in providing young people in underserved communities in New Zealand with opportunities for digital education, mentoring and IT training to create pathways to careers in the tech industry.
One student who’s life has been changed by the work of the High Tech Youth Network is Ofoi Taumoelau, from Auckland. She shared her story with us in this recent video interview, which highlights the real impact that Microsoft is making in New Zealand through the YouthSpark programme.
