What is the MSA Programme?
The Microsoft Student Accelerator Program was created in New Zealand to empower kiwi students across the country by giving them the right training and opportunities to help them accelerate their careers in technology.
MSA bridges the gap between education and the workplace across New Zealand by skilling students up on key technologies and providing them with voluntary work placement opportunities with organisations over the summer.

Want to get access to New Zealand’s top IT talent pipeline? Host a team of 3 students across the summer to work on an innovative project with you.
- Students are trained on Microsoft Azure, full stack development, data science and machine learning plus more.
- Employers provide an innovative project over a 10-week period (taking place during December 2021 – February 2022) that their team(s) can work on.
- Each MSA team consists of up to 3 students, and you are welcome to submit multiple project applications.
