The Block Aotearoa…with actual blocks! The ‘Build the Earth’ project began with one person’s idea, keyboard and mouse. Parts of Africa, America, Hong Kong, France, Australia and even Aotearoa have already been built. Major cities in New Zealand such as Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch have begun, with familiar structures taking shape. Whilst only 2% of the world has been constructed, the project is a great way to polish or begin levelling up your Minecraft skills and to see your ideas take shape.
Founders of the ‘Build the Earth’ are also envisioning the project as a way for teachers to get students involved and excited about the world around them. This is your chance to hit the nail on the head and create your dream vision, block by block.
