Celebrating the 2024 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award winners and finalists from Australia and New Zealand

I am thrilled to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the Australian and New Zealand winners of the 2024 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards and our region’s finalists. These awards recognise and feature the most innovative Microsoft partners and customer implementations worldwide.

I’m immensely proud of the work our partners have accomplished this year. It’s inspiring to see how they’ve harnessed the full range of Microsoft technologies to deliver innovative solutions, drive significant impacts across numerous industries and make a real difference in our communities. Together, we truly are empowering every person and organisation to achieve more. Our partners’ dedication and ingenuity exemplify the transformative power of the Microsoft network, and I am honoured to celebrate their achievements.

I’d first like to congratulate our Country Partner of the Year winners.

Arinco won this prestigious award for Australia for delivering cutting-edge AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive local business growth. Its dedication to modernising and innovating infrastructure showcases our partners’ exceptional impact.

In New Zealand, Aware Group was acknowledged for its pioneering efforts in data analytics and AI. Their focus on responsible AI adoption has given customers the confidence and trust to make strategic, data-driven decisions, setting a new benchmark for what can be achieved through our partnership.

I would also like to congratulate Rapid Circle and LawVu, which were Country Partner of the Year finalists for Australia and New Zealand respectively.

ANZ partners excel on the global front

It was also exciting to see many ANZ partners recognised as winners and finalists in the Global Category Awards, which attracted 4,700 highly competitive submissions globally.

ANZ partners particularly stood out in the Modern Work awards, with Rapid Circle winning the Employee Experience award for transforming connection & productivity in the workplace with Viva & Copilot.

Data#3 emerged as the Surface Reseller winner for the second consecutive year, having showcased its expertise in safeguarding digital assets and ensuring compliance in the modern workplace.

In a testament to their exceptional capabilities and competitive edge, several of our partners were recognised as finalists in the global categories. These include:

  • Data#3 for Secure Productivity
  • Avanade Inc/Accenture and Velrada for Dynamics 365 Service
  • Avanade Inc/Accenture for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain
  • PwC for Identity
  • Dell Technologies for Modern Endpoint Management
  • Exigo Tech and KPMG Australia for Nonprofit
  • KPMG Australia for AI Innovation

Our partner network’s incredible local impact

Microsoft also gave regional awards to ANZ partners who excelled in diverse categories and areas of expertise. It’s my pleasure to highlight the remarkable contributions these partners have made in transforming industries, enhancing business operations and driving high-impact innovations across the region.

Logicalis won the Azure category for helping Western Sydney University leverage the cloud to improve operational efficiency and provide modern, engaging digital services for staff and students. Fusion5 won for its work in the Business Applications category, transforming service operations with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, enhancing customer experiences through AI-powered tools like Copilot, driving productivity improvements across industries with Finance and Operations, and excelling in digital contact centre innovations.

Data#3 helped modernise a large power utility’s device fleet with Surface – modernising their management and enhancing security – and winning the Modern Work category.

Quorum won the Security category for its commitment in providing robust end-to-end security, enabling customers to proactively defend against cyberthreats.

Wipro won the Industry category for. delivering an industry-leading data analytics solution for Water NSW to advance their digital transformation efforts and reduce the time it takes to collate data from months to minutes. HCLTech’s innovative use of Microsoft’s digital technology to help clients achieve transformation goals led to the company securing the Partner Innovation award. At the same time, KPMG Australia won the Business Transformation category for their work in Generative AI – driving AI adoption and transformation with clients using their secure, enterprise-grade AI agent KymChat.

Finally, Barhead Solutions launched a Microsoft-based solution with the aim of helping community legal centres provide more efficient services to 180,000 people and close a service gap. Its work in the legal sector won the Social Impact category, with the solution potentially saving community legal centres up to $25 million over five years.

As we celebrate these achievements, we also look forward to the exciting future. We are eager to continue our journey together, driving innovation and creating impact for our customers.
