Microsoft today announced that the Surface Laptop will be available in Singapore starting 24 January, with pre-orders commencing 10 January from the Microsoft Store, as well as authorised retailers including Best Denki, Challenger, Courts, LOL by Epicentre, Harvey Norman, and Newstead.
Surface Laptop will also be available for pre-orders for commercial customers via Authorised Device Resellers including AsiaPac Distribution Pte Ltd, JK Technology Pte Ltd, and UIC Asian Computer Services Pte Ltd.
Starting from S$1,488, Surface Laptop is the perfect balance of portability, performance and elegance, and is more than just a traditional laptop. Available in Platinum, the signature keyboard on the Surface Laptop is covered in luxurious Alcantara® material and features a quiet and responsive keyset, large precision trackpad, and soft palm rest for a new level of typing comfort.

The vibrant 13.5-inch PixelSense Display is optimized for touch and inking for an immersive experience, and the optically bonded Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 makes it as durable as it is beautiful. The Surface Laptop will also support the new Surface Pen[3], which will unlock new creative scenarios for users.
Shipping with Windows 10 S, a new Windows experience streamlined for security and superior performance, Surface Laptop starts up and runs faster with InstantOn and an OS optimized for sustained performance.
With Windows 10 S, applications that are downloaded from the Windows Store are first verified for security, and then locally run in a safe “container” to ensure that Windows 10 S offers the power of full-featured applications, including experiences such as the full version of Office 365, among others. In addition, Surface Laptop is fully integrated with OneDrive to keep your content safe in the cloud.
