For users that seek a powerful yet portable device, the Surface Book 2 (13.5”) weighs just slightly over 1.5kg, and is crafted from premium, lightweight materials that balances performance with size.
“For customers looking for the ultimate in mobile computing performance, we are excited to be bringing Surface Book 2 to Singapore,” said Veronica Chiu, Windows and Devices Business Group Lead, Microsoft Singapore. “At Microsoft, we continue to push boundaries in creating devices that offer performance and versatility. Work and play the way you want with the Surface Book 2
The Surface Book 2 is able to morph from a laptop into a powerful, lightweight tablet or even as a powerful studio for those who want a single device that can follow one from concept to sketch to creation. The device has been redesigned so that users can have a smoother, faster detach of the screen with just a push of a button. In addition, the Surface Book 2 can be simply folded to activate Studio Mode to ink or sketch with the Surface Pen and Surface Dial.
Available in 13.5” or 15” and featuring a stunningly vibrant and crisp PixelSense™ Display supporting multi touch, the Surface Book 2 empowers users to create the way they want – whether by inking, touch or conventional keyboard and mouse input. For visual artists and creatives, the Surface Book 2 delivers almost seven million pixels onscreen, providing amazing pixel density on a digital canvas.
For users who require productivity on-the-go, Surface Book 2 ships with Windows 10 Pro and supports Microsoft Office apps. The device also brings a full array of ports, including USB-A, USB-C, and full-size SD reader so that it is easier to connect to other devices, accessories and memory cards.
With the latest Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, Surface Book 2 users can unleash their creativity with the new Photos app, as well as a new range of experiences that allows for creating and interacting with 3D objects. The Fall Creators Update is also the best version of Windows for PC gamers, and coupled with the Surface Book 2, users can be sure that the device will be able to handle the most popular PC games at 1080p and 60 FPS – in some cases matching the graphics performance of game consoles like the Xbox One.
