Director, Marketing & Operations, Microsoft Singapore
Joanna Lim is the Director of Marketing & Operations at Microsoft Singapore. She leads a team that oversees marketing, business operations and strategy, and is responsible for product management, customer, and partner experience, integrated and digital marketing, communications, and philanthropy.
Joanna and her team also lead the National Transformation Partnerships for Singapore, enabling customer and partner digital acceleration with initiatives on skilling, sustainability, and digital alliances to drive a digitally inclusive and resilient Singapore, committing to realizing Microsoft’s mission, to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
Joanna first joined Microsoft in 2003 and held various marketing and partner sales positions in the Singapore and Asia Pacific region during her first 10 years with Microsoft. In 2014, she joined Symantec & Veritas to lead the regional field marketing operations for ASEAN, India and ANZ region.
In October 2018, Joanna returned as the Business Group lead for Modern Work & Security Business for Microsoft Singapore. She leads the Modern Work and Security business, driving the strategy and execution that has helped many organizations in Singapore leverage the power of cloud to empower their employees and secure their businesses, especially during the pandemic.
Joanna graduated from Monash University, with a Bachelor of Business in Marketing. Prior to joining Microsoft, she also held roles at Ingram Micro, Cisco Systems and Commvault Systems.
On the personal front, Joanna enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring new cities, seeking new adventures locally or abroad and learning new dishes for a cookout with family and friends
