Cairo, October 4, 2018: Link Datacenter, the leading integrated technology solution provider has joined forces with Microsoft Egypt to deliver Azure stack services in the market, and to become the first provider in Egypt offering the Azure Stack Cloud Services through their Datacenters. Link Datacenter is a certified “Gold” Microsoft partner that provides a variety of data hosting solutions both on Azure and its local data centers, and managed services to cross vertical enterprises.  LDC’s portfolio also includes Security, infrastructure, ISV SAAS, and migration services. LDC data centers are regionally dispersed in three different locations and boast powerful technical specifications.

“Azure Stack will offer a ground-breaking solution; localized applications, data hosting and services, but still enjoy the benefits and features of Azure Cloud Services.” said Ahmed El Salmy, Microsoft Egypt Cloud Business Group Lead . “It allows Banking & Government organizations to use the Hybrid Cloud seamlessly, from cloud computing in their own local environments, or World Class Service Providing Data Centers, as Link Datacenters. Customers in Egypt can acquire their own Microsoft Azure Stack appliance through its Hardware partners such as Lenovo, HP, Dell EMC, Cisco and Huawei”. El Salmy added.

“Link Datacenter is proudly to be the only provider of this service in Egypt, our strong partnership with Microsoft Egypt and keen foresight lead us to gravely invest in the technology and make it readily available for the Egyptian market. Clients who can’t migrate to the cloud due to security or data regulations can easily move their applications and data to Azure Stack which can easily connect to any applications they have on Azure cloud. Using Azure stack omits any problems with latency because they are connected via a dedicated data line, it also heightens the security of their infrastructure because nothing is accessible through the internet. Using Azure stack improves the agility, scalability, and reduces your total cost of ownership because you only pay for what you use and don’t need to invest in costly local data centers.” Said Gamal Selim, Link Datacenter CEO. “Azure stack services are expected to cause a leap in the local cloud market, and LDC is ready to take the lead thanks to our 20+ years of successful implementations, strong technical know-how and superb customer care.” Gamal added.
