Microsoft has officially launched the Middle East News Centre, its second news and information platform in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). The new platform will complement the MEA News Centre, serving as an online content hub for Microsoft to deliver more personalised communication in Arabic to its customers across the Arab world.

With an estimated 310 million speakers in the world, Arabic is one of the most popular yet underserved languages on the internet today. Not surprisingly, the demand for quality online information in Arabic is growing and the Middle East News Centre, which is a dedicated Arabic language platform, is an effort to help meet that demand.

Visitors to the Middle East News Centre can access a variety of Microsoft offerings, ranging from new product launches and updates to in-depth explorations of how cutting-edge technologies are expected to impact both the economy and society at large. We believe in the power of technology, not only to enable digital transformation, but to help the region address some of its greatest challenges and this will reflect strongly in the stories we tell.

The new platform will also host a wealth of content in Arabic across a range of different multimedia. This includes everything from visual explainers to localised video content.

We hope you’ll pay a visit to the new site and that you’ll find the new platform relevant and engaging.

In the meantime, we also hope to keep seeing you here where you’ll continue to find all the latest Microsoft content relevant to the broader Middle East and Africa region – from new data centres in both Africa and the Middle East to the launch of new development centres and more.

Happy reading!
