KPMG Football Benchmark launches new social media analytics dashboards in cooperation with Microsoft

KPMG has announced the release of a Social Media Analytics dashboard alongside further enhancements to its industry leading Football Benchmark data and analytics platform.

The launch of the new social media analytics dashboard kicks off a new strategic initiative by KPMG and Microsoft as both organisations expand their global alliance to jointly work on the improvement of the overall sports industry transformation, digitalization and democratization.

This new edition of Football Benchmark, powered by Microsoft technology, will provide all subscribers with daily updated and historical tracking of the major new media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and You Tube) and rich and interactive data visualization tools, connecting to multiple data sources enabled by Power BI and the Azure Intelligent cloud platform.In addition, the platform also enables social media performance metric analysis of more than 2,000 players individually.

A deeper dive
Digital, commercial and other football industry stakeholders can now dive deeper into social media trends and benchmark clubs’ online performance in areas such as engagement, follower growth, communication strategy or fan demographics.

FootballBenchmark.com now includes information for over 500 football clubs from more than 50 leagues of five different FIFA confederations, further strengthening the data and analytics platform position as the primary source of industry insight and knowledge.
