Kartu Pra Kerja to upskill an initial two million Indonesian learners and jobseekers
CloudSwyft has partnered with MyEduSolve, one of its key local reseller partners, for the Kartu Pra Kerja program in Indonesia to provide Microsoft future-ready technology courses, hands-on labs, blended learning services and digital industry credentials to Indonesian learners.
The three-way strategic partnership between Microsoft, CloudSwyft and MyEduSolve provides a powerful contribution for future-proofing that is vital to Indonesia’s skills development aspirations. The solution provides Indonesia’s modern workforce with the unique opportunity to develop higher value skills that will move them up the value chain and, in turn, provide them with better career pathing options. Offered to Kartu Pra Kerja participants are Data Analysis, AI, Azure Data Engineer, Azure Cloud, Data Science, Front-End Development, IT Support and DevOps online course and certification programs among others, which can provide job opportunities around data analyst, cloud support, system operations and software engineering roles.
The online course programs to be rolled-out for Kartu Pra Kerja offers unique differentiators that create a whole new technology learning experience for participants. These include the Hands-On Learning Labs service and Blended Learning Experience platform. Hands-On Labs are online IT lab ‘playgrounds’ with pre-installed applications that are aligned in each specific online IT course. They allow learners to perform practical lab exercises through web browsers without any manual setups required, be graded and successfully earn digital credentials that can be shared on LinkedIn profiles, jobs classified portals and social media. The Blended Learning Experience platform is a value-add service that allows learners to book available tech mentors and faculty instructors for a 1-hour one-on-one remote session through Microsoft Teams integration for guidance on labs and course modules in the platform.
Kartu Pra Kerja is the Indonesian Government’s work competency development program aimed at Indonesian citizens of at least 18 years of age and who are high school graduates, vocational graduates, job seekers or laid-off employees that will benefit from competency and skills improvements. The Government will distribute pre-employment cards to qualified participants who can register online. These cards will each have ‘upskilling credits’, with a maximum balance of IDR 3,000,000 for online courses and IDR 7,000,000 for offline training class offerings. The current budget for this program is IDR 10 Trillion.
The Kartu Pra Kerja program currently operates through eight major local marketplaces: Tokopedia, Bukalapak, Ruangguru, HarukaEdu’s Pintaria, Telkom’s Pijar Mahir, Maubelajerapa, Sekolahmu and Kemnaker. Each has partnered with select learning platform and service providers, which include MyEduSolve and CloudSwyft, in partnership with Microsoft. MyEduSolve has already sealed partnerships with three major local marketplaces on behalf of the partnership.

MyEduSolve is also a Microsoft and a Certiport Partner and will be offering learning products and certifications for the Kartu Prakerja program that will enhance valuable workforce skills including Digital Literacy, Business Communication, Entrepreneurship and Microsoft Office hands-on competencies. MyEduSolve is co-founded by Stephanie Seputra and Calvin Geerald.
