Microsoft Indonesia Appoints New Small & Medium Corporate Director

Jakarta, 28 March 2022 – Microsoft Indonesia has appointed Elly Tan as its Small, Medium & Corporate (SMC) Director to enable SMC customers in accelerating growth and enhance their business digitally. This appointment is further cementing Microsoft’s commitment to accelerate the digital transformation of Indonesia across industries and scales, hence empowering the digital economy of Indonesia.

Elly, who is also a member of the Microsoft Indonesia leadership team, is dedicated to drive Microsoft Indonesia’s SMC customers landscape to greater heights. Leading a team of talented individuals, Elly will be responsible to support SMCs in their digital transformation journey by providing strategic direction; ensuring each customer’s unique needs are addressed with Microsoft’s tailored solutions while leveraging Microsoft’s vibrant partner ecosystem.

With over 25 years of experience, that spans the cloud, IT, and enterprise industries—with a special focus on conglomerates–Elly has a very rounded profile that is sure to drive Microsoft Indonesia’s Berdayakan Ekonomi Digital Indonesia initiative. Prior to Microsoft, Elly held leadership positions at SAP, PT Metrodata Electronics Tbk., and PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika.

Elly graduated with a degree in Computer Accounting from Bina Nusantara University. It is her interest in technology and people that brought her to different roles in the IT industry, which requires both technical and communication skills.
