March 24, 2022 – Microsoft Korea accelerates the establishment of a smart work environment and digital innovation of the Nonghyup through cloud Azure-based solutions and Microsoft 365 (M365).
As hybrid work becomes more generalized to maximize flexibility from physical environments such as offices and devices, the needs to establish a smart work environment is being emphasized in the financial industry as well. The financial industry is promoting safer and more efficient operations by building a smart work environment to cope with this trend.
The Nonghyup has decided to introduce Microsoft Azure-based solutions, considering convenience, flexibility, security, and expense from various perspectives. It has established a smart work environment through this the Azure-based solution introduction and efficiently improved the remote work environment while complying in the financial industry.
First, the Nonghyup has established a flexible collaboration environment and secured work productivity based on various features of collaboration platform Microsoft Teams, and M365, including a video conferencing. It has also addressed to enhance the security from external networks such as tablets and mobile devices by using a secure access system based on Azure Active Directory authentication.
Moreover, it was able to meet security requirements in the industry by linking Azure Virtual Desktop with a secure VPN. This allows employees to access the internal network whenever and wherever in a safely secured environment to perform internal tasks such as e-mails, electronic approvals, and document sharing.
Also, it developed an app to search an open seat and a document download by utilizing Power Apps, a low-code development support platform for employees’ convenience for working. The specialty of Power Apps is to help building apps in various browser environments including Microsoft Edge without having additional programs.
