Pre-orders for the Surface Pro, 12-inch and Surface Laptop, 13-inch now open
Singapore, July 1, 2025 – Microsoft announced that pre-orders for the new Surface Pro, 12-inch and Surface Laptop, 13-inch – the latest additions to the AI-powered Copilot+ PC family– are commencing today in Singapore. From July 1, consumers can reserve these next-generation Surface devices purpose-built to unlock AI experiences with powerful performance, long battery life and sleek portability via the Microsoft Official Store and authorized retailers, ahead of general availability on July 15, 2025.
The all-new Surface Pro and Surface Laptop represent the next chapter of Surface innovation, bringing ultra-thin, lightweight and intelligent Copilot+ PCs to more users at even more affordable price points and attractive new sizes. Built on the Snapdragon X Plus processor with integrated NPU, these devices are designed to deliver AI-enhanced productivity, beautiful new form factors, and sustainability-led design – with prices starting from 1,199 SGD.

The Surface Laptop, 13-inch is Microsoft’s thinnest and lightest Surface Laptop yet — crafted for portability, built for performance and enhanced with the power of AI. The device is smaller than a standard notebook, making it effortless to slip into your bag and take anywhere. It features a premium anodized aluminum chassis and is available in Platinum in Singapore.
Powered by the Snapdragon X Plus processor, including an integrated 45 TOPS (trillion operations per second) NPU, the new Surface Laptop is 50% faster than Surface Laptop 5 and outpaces the MacBook Air M3. It’s incredibly snappy and responsive, giving you all the speed you need to do more.
It delivers the longest battery life of any Surface, with up to 23 hours of video playback and up to 16 hours of active web browsing, allowing you to work from anywhere, without the need to plug in. With universal USB-C fast charging, it’s never been easier to stay powered up on the go.
A vibrant 13-inch full HD touchscreen display with ultra-thin bezels elevates the user experience — whether working, streaming, or creating. The AI-enhanced camera with Auto Video HDR and AI noise reduction ensures you look and sound your best in any setting.

Continuing Microsoft’s sustainability commitments, the new Surface Laptop contains 100% recycled cobalt in the battery and 100% recycled rare earth metals in the magnets. Components are designed for easier repair and replacement by authorized service providers.

The all-new Surface Pro, 12-inch maintains the iconic versatility of the 2-in-1 form factor, providing the functionality of a laptop and the portability of a tablet, with the help of its built-in adjustable kickstand and detachable keyboard. The Surface Slim Pen now magnetically attaches to the back of the tablet for charging and secure storage — ready when you need it.
Also powered by the Snapdragon X Plus processor with a built-in 45 TOPS NPU, this new Surface Pro is fast and fluid, with all-day battery life, delivered in a 680-gram package that fits easily in your small bag.
The reimagined Surface Pro, 12-inch Keyboard transforms the device into a laptop. It attaches securely, lies flat, and includes a smooth-matte palm rest, full-size backlit keyset, and a customizable precision touchpad with adaptive touch mode. The keyboard folds flat for sketching or writing and features dedicated Copilot and lock keys. In Singapore, the keyboard is available in Slate color.
With 82.9% recycled content in the enclosure and 100% recycled cobalt in the battery, the device is designed with sustainability in mind. Pro is also designed to help reduce e-waste with many components designed to be replaced by skilled technicians or authorized service providers.

- Recall (preview) is an opt-in experience that lets you retrace your steps in seconds to quickly and securely return to an app, website, image or document.
- Describe what you’re looking for in your own words, and improved Windows search will find it for you, whether you’re in File Explorer, the Windows Search box or Settings.
- Click to Do (preview) helps you identify text and images on your screen and take action using local and web-based AI models — so you stay in your flow. The new Pro and Laptop are also an investment in the future of Copilot+ PC experiences, as we continue to roll out the AI tools you need. The following features will first be available to Windows Insiders before expanding more broadly:
- The new agent in Settings – rolling out first to Windows Insiders – will allow you to describe an issue in your own words and get recommendations on how to address it. With your permission, it can even complete the actions on your behalf.
- Photos Relight will bring pro-grade lighting effects to images on your Copilot+ PC.
