Microsoft for Startups Switzerland announces third cohort of its AI Tech Accelerator, welcoming 11 startups

Zurich, Switzerland – January 29, 2026 – Microsoft for Startups Switzerland today announced the third cohort of the Microsoft for Startups Switzerland AI Tech Accelerator, welcoming 11 startups building AI-powered solutions across a wide range of industries. The accelerator runs from February 2 to mid April 2026.

Over the course of the program, participating startups receive hands-on technical and business enablement, including expert-led sessions, tailored 1:1 support, and guidance on building with Microsoft Azure and Azure AI capabilities, including access to generative AI models on Azure and Azure cloud credits (subject to eligibility).

“Switzerland brings together strong talent and a growing ecosystem of teams applying AI in practical ways. This cohort reflects the diversity of use cases we are seeing, and through the Accelerator we aim to support Startups as they develop, test and scale their solutions using Azure AI with support and guidance from Microsoft experts,” said Andrew Reid, Commercial Partner Lead, Microsoft Switzerland.

Building on the success of the Swiss AI Tech Accelerator and leveraging similar initiatives in France and the UK, Microsoft is also scaling this approach through NextAI Hub programs, connecting market-ready AI startups with Microsoft expertise in a broader European ecosystem.
