Microsoft Surface 2

According to Ralf Groene, who leads the industrial and interaction design teams for Surface devices, the creation of Surface 2 was more like a pingpong game, where at each stage of development the engineering team would consult with designers to discuss progress and make sure the emerging product continued to meet the team’s vision.
