Bangkok – 5 March 2015 – Microsoft (Thailand) Limited announces the intent by Index Living Mall, the leading Thai furniture retailer, to deploy the Microsoft Dynamics for Retail (Dynamics AX 2012 R3), the only available complete end-to-end retail solution in a single platform. The modern retail business solution will deliver a complete and engaging shopping experience for customers with a seamless and differentiating omni-channel solution, which addresses critical scenarios that drive retailing today that is more modern, more mobile, and more global.

Index Living Mall has selected Microsoft Dynamics for Retail as their global Retail Management, and Supply Chain Management Solution. With an initial rollout of the project in Malaysia that went live in November 2014, Index Living Mall plans for a complete roll-out of the same solution in Thailand across all of their stores in mid-2015.

As customers evolved, shoppers today are taking charge of how, when and where they make purchases. As the demand for a more unique, personalized and seamless shopping experience rises, retailers need to adapt and remain relevant and compelling to an increasingly connected audience in a mobile-first, cloud-first world, yet be able to reach new customers.

Microsoft Dynamics for Retail empowers retailers from all sizes to be dynamic and deliver the complete shopping experience with a seamless and differentiated solution. The solution comes with end-to-end capabilities and can be deployed to fit retail businesses targeted to specific needs, or help complete business transformation including Point of Sale (POS), store operation, merchandising, e-commerce, call-center, marketing, customer-care, supply chain & logistics, financial and more. “Index Living Mall had started a pilot project with Aeon Index Living Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Aeon CO.(M) BHD. Malaysia and Index Living Mall Thailand operation in Malaysia in November 2014 with a successful integration of our front and back office operations, allowing our customers there to enjoy a more seamless and better shopping experience with faster checkout time. We plan to go live with the solution in Thailand by middle of this year and Microsoft Dynamics for Retail will manage our retail and supply chain management with a single repository of customer and sales information behind the company’s many sales channels both new and old.
