Microsoft Lumia 650 is now available in Thailand at THB 7,190

BANGKOK, Thailand, March 28, 2016 – Microsoft Corp. today announced retail availability of the Lumia 650 in Thailand. The thinnest and lightest Lumia mobile device from Microsoft is built for business users and Windows fans alike, and brings the power of Windows 10 to your pocket with beautiful craftsmanship and protection against modern security threats. Retailing at THB 7,190, Lumia 650 is now available at Banana IT, IT City, Jaymart, Lazada and TG Fone. Customers will also be able to get special gifts ranging from memory cards to battery banks, in addition to zero percent installment plans, when purchasing the new Lumia 650 (promotion differs across retailers; customers to check with retailers separately).

“We crafted the Lumia 650 with the finest detail while delivering a consistent and familiar Windows 10 experience,” said Mark Trundle, Microsoft Mobile Devices Segment Lead for Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Singapore. “Lumia 650 brings the best of Microsoft productivity, beautiful design and an affordable price.

“Inspired by digital lives in a mobile-first and cloud-first world, Microsoft has mapped a bold new ambition to create an era of ‘More Personal Computing’, where technology is personal, simple yet powerful enough to maximize the potential of our users. With Windows 10 Mobile, Lumia phones are poised to deliver an immersive yet intuitive experience for Lumia users,” Trundle added.

Sophisticated Lumia Design

With a highly polished, diamond cut and anodized aluminum frame, measuring at only 6.9 mm thick and weighing 122 grams, the Lumia 650 is our thinnest phone ever. Its crisp 5 inch HD display provides a clear and bright viewing experience, even in direct sunlight. The Lumia 650 also features up to 200GB of expandable memory1 for flexibility on the go.

Built for Business

The Lumia 650 is perfect for business deployment thanks to the security of Windows 10 Mobile. Microsoft allows IT to test the latest Windows 10 Mobile builds against critical line of business systems and apps, all before it is distributed to end users through MDM.

Windows 10 Keeps Your Phone Secure

According to the recent Asian Millennial Survey conducted by Microsoft across the Asia Pacific Region, 52 percent of millennials polled said that the lack of privacy and security was a facet of their digital lifestyles today that they disliked most. Trust is at the center of building Windows 10 – users are in control with the ability to determine what information is collected from their devices, and the information collected is encrypted in transit and stored in secure facilities.

Availability

In Thailand, customers can purchase the Lumia 650 starting at an estimated retail price of THB 7,190 by visiting Banana IT, IT City, Jaymart, Lazada and TG Fone2.
