Bangkok, March 20, 2023 – Microsoft Thailand has appointed SiS Distribution (Thailand) PCL as its latest authorized partner to deliver cloud services that enhance the capabilities of public and private organizations alike, enabling them to operate with greater agility and security than ever. Under this collaboration, SiS would have an opportunity to empower every organization for the era of digital transformation with products and services from Microsoft’s world-class cloud platform. Among the services on offer under the partnership are Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Dynamics – all of which are aimed at accelerating business development and stimulating sustained economic growth in Thailand.

Currently, SiS is working with over 9,000 IT businesses across Thailand through its expert teams and experienced distributors with a deep understanding of Thai organizations’ business operations in all sectors. The company is also ready to bring the right solution from Microsoft to serve these diverse needs.

Mr. Dhanawat Suthumpun, Managing Director of Microsoft Thailand, said, “Microsoft Thailand team is honored to work as a partner with SiS to collaboratively empower customers across Thailand. The company’s expert teams are well equipped with the expertise to tackle the unique issues facing each and every customer all over the country. With the fluctuating and unstable economic conditions, we believe that the cloud is an essential technology for all businesses. Our partnership with SiS began from a shared commitment in building strength and resilience for organizations of all sizes and scales – especially SMBs – in any industry across the country in Thailand. We are making the cloud accessible to as many businesses as possible. The Microsoft team and I are very proud to engage SiS in this partnership, and we will do our very best to make an impact for Thai businesses and organizations.”

SiS will also harness the innovation of Microsoft’s cloud platform to enhance its own internal systems and workflows – from migrating its email and communication systems to Microsoft 365 with collaboration through Microsoft Teams to supporting business processes with advanced solutions from Microsoft Dynamics 365. Meanwhile, SiS Cloud Services will utilize Microsoft Azure Arc to offer more Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions – including Azure Arc-enabled SQL Server. Additionally, SiS also offers Microsoft Surface devices for businesses.

Mr. Somchai Sitthichaisrichart, Managing Director of SiS Distribution (Thailand), said, “SiS strongly believes that the cloud can help organizations of all sizes work faster, easier, and with a wider range of capabilities. The partnership with Microsoft is an important step for SiS to bring cutting-edge innovations to our partners and customers. We are striving to build our team to drive and support Microsoft solutions to the greatest extent with 50 well-trained staff who have completed Microsoft’s professional certification programs. This will enable SiS to consistently provide well-rounded and quality service to customers – from pre-sales to after-sales – in parallel with other products we offer, which range from network infrastructure and software to security and communication solutions. Partnering with Microsoft will help us deliver faster and even more effective customer service. As Microsoft’s official partner, SiS expert team can access training courses, information, and the latest updates from Microsoft experts all the time. This will help SiS be ready to deliver the best innovation that suits customers’ needs.”

In the first phase of this partnership, SiS is preparing to launch the first service packages – Microsoft 365 with a cloud-based phone system for easy communication and collaboration from anywhere and a Backup and Disaster Recovery system on Microsoft Azure, an important solution that helps organizations ensure business continuity amidst the uncertainty of the digital age. Through Azure, systems can be restored and services resumed quickly after a cybercrime incident, ultimately reducing the impact and damage to the business.
