Deputy Managing Director, One Commercial Partners
Mr. Somsak Mukdavannakorn is the Deputy Managing Director, One Commercial Partners for Microsoft Thailand. In this role, he is responsible for driving growth strategies and overall business and leading program to deliver value for Microsoft’s partners in Thailand and more that that together, Microsoft and Partners, we aim for Thai customer success.
Before joining Microsoft, he was country leader for government and large enterprises, IBM Thailand including IBM Smarter Cities champion. He has spent more than 5 years focused on Public Sector and its ecosystem of complex system integrators across Thailand and have exposure to the Water management, Public Safety, and Intelligence domains. In this role, he has also worked closely with several subject matter experts who are working with 40+ governments in worldwide in many areas such as Flood Management, Disaster/Emergency response management, Weather forecasting, Transportation management. He’s worked with IBM for 20 years in the Utilities, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Public sectors, providing business development related to Smarter Cities initiatives into government and large enterprise organizations.
He holds bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Chiang Mai University and a computer science master degree from National Institute of Development Administrative (NIDA) in Thailand and completed 2 short-term leadership classes from Boston University.
He is married with 3 children.
