The tablet that can replace your laptop gets thinner, lighter and faster
Hong Kong — November 12, 2015 — Today, Microsoft Hong Kong announced the retail availability of Surface Pro 4 and its accessories throughout Hong Kong starting November 19. The newest in the Surface lineup, Surface Pro 4 takes what people love about Surface Pro 3 and makes it better, packing more power and performance into the thinnest, lightest Surface yet. Designed to run full Microsoft Office and bring the best of Windows 10 to life – including Windows Hello, Surface Pen[1] and Microsoft Edge – Surface Pro 4 helps you power through anything you need to do. Hong Kong customers can buy the Surface Pro 4 Intel® Core™ m3, Core™ i5, and Core™ i7 models at the Microsoft Online Store and at authorized retailers including Broadway, Fortress and Suning.
“Surface has transformed the category by focusing on productivity, creating a highly versatile device that people love to use. Surface Pro 4 brings together the performance of a laptop and the full power of Windows 10 with the portability of a tablet” said Horace Chow, General Manager of Microsoft Hong Kong. “Surface is the fastest-growing major tablet in the Hong Kong market. Sales of Surface Pro 3 is triple that of its predecessor. More importantly, 98% of current Surface Pro 3 owners would recommend the tablet to friends and colleagues. Given the growing 2-in-1 device popularity in Asia, and with 17% of Asian millennials already owning such a device and another close to 23% wishing to own one for the upcoming holiday season, we are confident of the uptake of Surface Pro 4 in Hong Kong.”
At only 8.4 mm thin, Surface Pro 4 features Windows 10 Pro, a stunning 12.3-inch PixelSense Display and 6th Generation Intel® Core™ m3, Core™ i5, and Core™ i7 processors, enabling everyone from students to professionals as well as creators to get more done on the go and let their imagination go wild with the redesigned pressure-sensitive Surface pen. Marco Chan, a Hong Kong-based industrial designer who has dedicated his passion to 3D printing design, has made use of the Surface Pro 4 to create three-dimensional jewelry from a digital file. “The Surface Pro 4 is a great tool for people who want to be creative and productive on the go. When I was designing the 3D jewelry, the high quality display and the highly responsive Surface Pen allowed me to capture ideas anytime, anywhere, and refine every detail with ease. The device helped me turn complex designs into reality,” said Chan.
