Dynamics 365 Business Central launched locally as a new service in Swiss Microsoft datacenters. All new online environments running the Swiss Business Central version are now set-up in the Azure region Switzerland North by default.

The Microsoft Cloud in Switzerland is not only for large enterprises: It also enables SMEs and startups to leverage the most modern and secure technology. “Switzerland is the country of SMEs and we’re proud to enable them to achieve more”, says Primo Amrein, Cloud Lead for Microsoft Switzerland. “Therefore, we are extremely happy to launch a new service tailored for them in our local datacenters: Dynamics 365 Business Central.”

Business Central is a business application targeting growing businesses that have typically outgrown their basic accounting software or are replacing outdated legacy system. It is a comprehensive business management solution that helps companies connect their financials, sales, service, and operations to streamline business processes, improve customer interactions and make better decisions.

There are three key customer benefits:

  1. Adapt faster. Innovate and adopt new business models faster with the flexible deployment models, mobility, reliability, security, and adaptable Microsoft cloud solution that grows with your business.
  2. Work smarter. Get a complete picture of your business with easy to create dashboards, built-in analytics that proactively inform and guide employees, and interoperability with Microsoft 365.
  3. Perform better. Enable high performance with guided workflows, governance, and real-time metrics that drive continuous process optimization, accelerates financial closes, and improves cycle times.

With the launch of Business Central, Swiss customers can now use the service while addressing regulatory compliance and local data storage.

The Microsoft Cloud in Switzerland continues to grow with further local services. Another recent example is the addition of AI Builder from the power platform solution offering.
