Microsoft Switzerland appoints Sonja Meindl as Director of the Enterprise Commercial business

Starting October 1, Sonja Meindl has taken on the leadership over the Enterprise Commercial business of Microsoft Switzerland. She reports directly to Catrin Hinkel, CEO of Microsoft Switzerland, and is part of the Swiss Leadership Team.

Sonja Meindl has joined Microsoft Switzerland as the new Director of the Enterprise Commercial business. She follows Simone Frömming, who has left the company to take on a new opportunity outside of Microsoft.

In her new role, Sonja Meindl is responsible for Microsoft’s largest customers in Switzerland. “With her deep industry experience, I am confident Sonja is the right person to empower our customers in Switzerland on their digital transformation journeys and the challenges they are faced with,” says Catrin Hinkel, CEO at Microsoft Switzerland.

Sonja Meindl looks back at over 27 years in the IT industry: Most recently, she has been the Regional Vice President Alps at Tanium, a cybersecurity and systems management company. Her previous stations were amongst others at Check Point Software Technologies as Country Manager for Switzerland and Austria as well as at McAfee as Regional Director Switzerland.
