Handelszeitung and PME, in collaboration with market research company Statista, have announced the «Best Employers 2024″. For the third year running, Microsoft Switzerland has secured the top spot as the best employer in the category «Internet, Telecommunications and IT».

Catrin Hinkel, CEO of Microsoft Switzerland, says: «It’s an honor for us to receive this award for the third consecutive time. My gratitude goes to the tireless efforts and support of our employees. Together, we shape a work environment where appreciation, trust, and cooperation are paramount and form the basis of our collective success for our customers.»

In 2024, Microsoft is focusing on advancing innovations to support businesses with the transformative potential of responsible AI. This year, tangible productivity improvements in companies will be significantly noticeable, and employees will begin to appreciate the value of AI in everyday life. This conclusion is also supported by the recently published Microsoft Work Trend Index, an annual survey format that explores global workplace trends worldwide to provide insights into the development and design of the work environment.

«At Microsoft Switzerland, we are at the heart of these pioneering innovations, and it is the commitment of our team that drives us forward every day,» emphasizes Hinkel. «We take pride in acting as a trusted partner and pioneer for our customers. We look forward to continuing our journey of growth and transformation together.»

Last year, Microsoft Switzerland was also named the most innovative international company in Switzerland for 2024 by Bilanz and PME magazines, in collaboration with Statista, based on its overall innovation, product innovation, and innovation culture.

About the Methodology

Every year, the Handelszeitung, PME, and Statista award the title of «Best Employers» in Switzerland. This recognition is based on an independent survey of about 15,000 employees across Switzerland, from which a score for each employer is derived. The survey participants represent a wide range of regional and sociodemographic backgrounds.
