Microsoft is the most innovative international company in Switzerland of 2024

The magazines Bilanz and PME, in collaboration with the market research company Statista, have chosen the «Top Innovative Companies 2024». Microsoft Switzerland has achieved first place among international companies.

The award is based on a multi-stage survey that takes three indicators into account: overall innovativeness, product innovation and the company’s culture of innovation. Microsoft Switzerland excelled in all areas.

Catrin Hinkel, CEO of Microsoft Switzerland, is delighted with the award and emphasizes the importance of innovation for the future of Switzerland: «We are very proud of this recognition, which reflects our employees› passion for innovation and Switzerland’s positioning as the most innovative country in the world. Microsoft has been firmly anchored in Switzerland for over 30 years and we want to make a positive contribution to society and the economy with our technologies.»

In this context, innovation and the responsible use of technology are inseparable, Hinkel emphasizes: «Innovative technologies such as artificial intelligence will only be used if we can trust them. We are grateful that tens of thousands of business customers and partners place this trust in us every day.»

Each year, Bilanz, PME and Statista select the «Top Innovative Companies» in Switzerland based on responses from innovation experts and employees in Switzerland as well as objective criteria such as the number of patents or their technological relevance. Learn more here.
