Brisbane, AUSTRALIA – 5 September, 2012 – At Microsoft’s Australian Partner Conference (APC) in Brisbane late yesterday afternoon, 900 Microsoft partners gathered at a ceremony to recognise 24 partners for their outstanding contribution of innovative solutions and services to customers during the past 12 months.
Celebrating its 20th year, the Microsoft Australia Partner Awards (MAPA) is the premier event to highlight partner’s achievements using Microsoft based technological solutions to address customer business needs.
The winning partners were chosen out of a national field of 300 plus nominations from Australian partners, with MAPAs presented in 24 categories.
“The MAPAs celebrate Australia’s local partners working at a world class level,” said Pip Marlow, managing director, Microsoft Australia. “The awards provide the opportunity to celebrate the success of our local partner network and given the exciting year ahead with some much anticipated launches, it’s important for Microsoft and our partners to be showcasing how innovation and outstanding solutions are helping customers. We offer our congratulations to all of the 24 winners, as well as all of the finalists, and we look forward to continued success in our partner ecosystem in the future.”
