AI Skills 4 Women aims to bridge the gender gap in AI by offering accessible, high-quality training to women from diverse backgrounds.
Microsoft and Founderz are launching AI Skills 4 Women, an initiative designed to provide free AI training to women across EMEA, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia. This program is part of a shared commitment to fostering diversity in the technology sector and ensuring that AI development includes perspectives from all parts of society.
With women currently representing only 22% of AI professionals, 12% of AI researchers, and 16% of AI faculty, the gender gap in artificial intelligence remains a significant challenge. AI Skills 4 Women seeks to address this disparity by offering women access to high-quality AI education, regardless of their prior experience in technology.
An Accessible and Impactful Learning Experience
The program, powered by Founderz in collaboration with Microsoft, provides:
- Free AI training designed for women at all skill levels, including those with no prior technical background.
- Expert-led courses featuring leading AI professionals who are shaping the future of the industry.
- 150 scholarships for the best performing participants who wish to further deepen their AI knowledge.
By removing financial and accessibility barriers, AI Skills 4 Women empowers more women to explore career opportunities in AI, contribute to the industry’s growth, and become part of a global movement toward a more inclusive tech ecosystem.
