The Women in AI Hackathon has become more than just a competition, it’s a movement dedicated to empowering women in artificial intelligence (AI) through collaboration, innovation, and education. This year’s theme, “AI for Her”, focused on developing AI-driven solutions to enhance women’s well-being.
In its second year, the hackathon brought together 120 participants across 9 international teams, demonstrating the region’s growing commitment to fostering female talent in AI. The event spanned 9 countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Malta, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey, highlighting the potential of AI, Copilot, and autonomous agents to drive meaningful impact.
Celebrating the Winning Teams:
1st Place: Vocal Mama (Team “AI HERos”) – A groundbreaking voice cloning solution that recreates a mother’s voice, strengthening communication and connection with her children.
2nd Place: Lullab-AI (Team “AImazing”) – An intelligent parental assistant with a 24/7 support system, featuring an advanced cry analyzer to better understand and respond to a baby’s needs.
3rd Place: PsyPal – AI for Mental Health (Team “SHEvolution”) – An AI-powered companion providing support and guidance for mental well-being.
This hackathon was a powerful reminder of what happens when brilliant minds, bold ideas, and cutting-edge technology come together to spark innovation. Through thought-provoking discussions and transformative AI solutions, we celebrated the talent, creativity, and impact of women in AI.
