Amy Lee

Chief Legal Director, Microsoft Hong Kong

As the Chief Legal Director, Amy leads all legal, government, industry, and community affairs activities at Microsoft Hong Kong. Amy plays a leading role at the company on intellectual property, corporate compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, and other legal and public policy issues.
Amy has more than two decades of experience in the legal profession. Before joining Microsoft Hong Kong, she was in private practice and worked in an international law firm Mayer Brown JSM, specializing in the areas of Intellectual Property and Information Technology. In 2016, Amy was listed in the Asian Legal Business ‘40 under 40’ category alongside other leading lawyers recognized for their high-quality work in the region.

Amy is a committee member of the InnoTech Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong. From 2012 to 2019, she chaired the BSA | The Software Alliance in Hong Kong. She is passionate about technology and believes in its ability to empower both individuals and organizations to make a positive difference and achieve more.

Amy graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Hong Kong. She is an accredited solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales.
