In wake of the increasing risks of cyber-attack across the globe, Microsoft has released several critical security updates to provide protection against widespread hacking, citing an “elevated risk of cyber-attacks.”

Microsoft, LinkedIn, Oracle, Facebook and Google are increasing their staff in India triggering a talent war with Indian information technology (IT) services providers. These US-based firms are seeking Indian engineers to work on technologies similar to their global counterparts even as they face rising protectionism in their home market.

BankChain, a platform for banks in India to explore, build, and implement blockchain solutions, announced to select Microsoft Azure platform as its exclusive Cloud partner. As part of this partnership, the 20 BankChain members that include State Bank of India (SBI), ICICI Bank, DCB Bank, Kotak Bank, Bank of Baroda, Deutsche Bank and others, will use Microsoft Azure Blockchain as the underlying blockchain platform.

Forza Motorsport 7 for the Xbox One X, Xbox One, and Windows 10 PC has a release date. Microsoft confirmed at its E3 2017 presentation that the game will be out on October 3 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. The game will be available for the Xbox One X during Holiday 2017.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer recently took to Twitter and posted an image of Microsoft’s E3 showfloor, stating that they’re ready for the conference and “can’t wait to share it with you.”

Microsoft has found a unique way of helping users find their way inside any building through an app called Path Guide. Developed by Microsoft’s Asia Team, the app is free to download and is currently available on Android devices only.
