Microsoft renewed its trademark for Scalebound, and there will obviously be some speculation as to its next stop.

Microsoft has revealed plans to deliver the complete, intelligent Microsoft Cloud for the first time from datacenters located in Africa. This new investment is a major milestone in the company’s mission to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more, and a recognition of the enormous opportunity for digital transformation in Africa.

Ericsson announced a partnership with Microsoft where both the firms would work together to help enterprises speed up the time it takes to launch mobile network-based IoT services. “Working together with Ericsson helps us delight our customers and partners by enabling more choices to control their cellular connected IoT devices,” said Sam George, Microsoft Director of Azure IoT, Microsoft Corporation.

Microsoft has updated its OneNote app for iOS, which now comes with a redesigned look. According to the OneNote v16.0 update log, the new version brings an improved visual layout. Notebooks, sections and pages are now neatly arranged in columns on the side of the app, making it easier to navigate and find what you’re looking for. The update adds some much-needed visual flair to the note-making app and looks to bring a consistent design across all your devices.

International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) India West Chapter organized a Hands-on Lab for Azure Fundamentals on 12th May 2017 at Microsoft Mumbai Office. About 23 Partners attended the event. The Lab was conducted by Rao Rajendra Singh, Global Black Belt for Cloud Infrastructure and Specialist in Business Continuity, Microsoft.

Phantom Dust isn’t the only blast from the past available to Xbox One owners. Microsoft’s Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Super Sale is now live, offering over 275 Xbox 360 titles that are backwards compatible on the Xbox One.

Global healthcare solutions provider, Indegene, and Microsoft joined hands to deliver the next generation of commercial cloud applications to life sciences. Microsoft “Dynamics 365 for Sales” will combine with the “Indegene Omnipresence” platform to create a modern, mobile and multi-channel customer relationship management (CRM) solution, specifically for sales and medical representatives to better engage healthcare practitioners.

It is hardly surprising that Artificial Intelligence was a major focus of Microsoft’s Build 2017 conference. In fact, given the rapid advancements in all areas of AI technology, it would be surprising if one of the world’s biggest technology companies wasn’t thinking about these problems in a big way.
