At Open Compute Project (OCP) Summit 2017, Qualcomm Incorporated, through its subsidiary, Qualcomm Datacenter Technologies, Inc. (QDT), announced a collaboration with Microsoft to accelerate next generation cloud services on its 10 nanometer Qualcomm Centriq 2400 platform. This collaboration will span multiple future generations of hardware, software and systems.

Microsoft announced the India winners of its Imagine Cup 2017 at a conference in New Delhi. The winners will represent the country at the worldwide finals in July in Seattle and stand against global competitors for a $100,000 prize. “We had got entries from 500-600 institutes last year, but over 1,600 colleges have participated this time,” said Narendra Bhandari, General Manager of Developer Experience and Evangelism, Microsoft India.

Linkedln has crossed the 500-million mark globally, helped by strong addition in user base from markets like India. With a base of over 42 million members and a growth of more than 40 percent in the last two years, India is the second largest market for Linkedln after the US. “Contributing over 35.5 percent to the APAC community of more than 118 million members, India retains the first spot within the region. China follows second with a member base of over 31 million, while Australia comes in third with more than 8 million members,” Linkedln said in a statement.
