Microsoft has launched Arrow Launcher with which it aims to improve your experience on the phone, and the launcher is currently available in private beta. With Arrow Launcher, Microsoft aims to tone down the clutter from your home screen. It is doing so by giving you quick access to your most favorite things and steering away the noise.

Microsoft will be the only major console manufacturer to have an actual press conference at E3 this year. The conference will begin at 7am Pacific/3pm UK on August 4, and will air on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and at Xbox.com. Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, has promised that, in addition to the three games listed above, Microsoft will also be making new game reveals at the event, as well as more Windows 10 gaming information.

Xbox One platform manager Richard Irving stated that the, “Brand new Xbox One User Interface experience that will be going out this fall and is really focused around speed and getting to things faster. Our design point of the new Xbox experience is speed and making all of the things you do on Xbox Live, both in and out of the game much faster. What is familiar is that the user can go left and right through the categories, but we have added a vertical scroll element that takes you deeper within the category.”

Microsoft is aiming to build lasting relationships with Windows 10, the operating system to be launched on Wednesday and seen as critical to reviving the fortunes of the once-dominant tech giant. Microsoft is making a major new version of Windows available free as an upgrade to anyone using either of the prior two generations of the system. The goal is to swiftly have Windows 10 powering a billion devices, creating a gigantic audience to induce developers to crank out must-have apps for the platform.

Windows Central reported that the Lumia 950 will come with a 5.2-inch OLED display and run a 64-bit hexa core Snapdragon 808 chipset clubbed with a 3GB RAM. It is further said to include a 20 megapixel PureView rear camera combined with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front snapper. The larger 5.7-inch Lumia 950 XL is said to be powered by a 64-bit octa core Snapdragon 810 chipset combined with 3GB RAM. While the camera specifications remain the same as the smaller Lumia 950, the one in 950 XL will come with triple LED flash.

The Pro and Enterprise versions of Windows 10 come with security and management improvements that will be appealing to enterprises, but the new approach to licences and keeping Windows 10 current is a major shift. Windows Enterprise is the only edition that includes the option of the Long Term Servicing Branch (LTSB) and a version of Windows that won’t get changes other than security updates and will be supported for five years.

Windows 10, undoubtedly, brings some of the most radical changes to window management when compared any prior Windows release. Features include a whole new way to organise and group windows, new ways to lay them out and new ways to switch between tasks. One of the key additions to Windows 10 is Microsoft calls Task View.

Microsoft will offer free its Azure cloud services to startups in India for speeding up the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India. “Startups need all the help they can to get access to the right tools, technology and guidance. At Microsoft, we are committed to supporting these startups and through the BizSpark Plus programme we want to support India’s upcoming entrepreneurs,” said, Rajinish Menon, Director, Microsoft Ventures India.

Gearbox Software is still chugging away on Battleborn, its upcoming first person shooter/MOBA hybrid seems to be making good progress. The co-op campaign looks like a rollicking good time based on the latest footage shown at E3 2015 and will run at 1080p Xbox One. Battleborn will be out on PS4, PC and Xbox One in Q4 2015 or Q1 2016.
