As the Director of Partner Development for Microsoft in ASEAN, Gwen plays a leadership role in supporting Microsoft’s extensive partner ecosystem to capitalize on the cloud and AI market opportunities across the region.
Not only does she oversee the growth of the partner ecosystem, Gwen and her team also drive greater success by supporting partners to engage more strategically with customers nationwide – better solving their needs and empowering them to innovate with Microsoft solutions.
Having been with Microsoft for 13 years, she has helmed various positions, most recently with the consumer sales organization (CSO) team where she took charge in implementing transformative strategies in product delivery across Southeast Asia and India. This broadened the reach of Microsoft 365 products and led to improvements in the organization’s performance in those markets. She has been a trusted advisor to Microsoft’s consumer channel partners whilst streamlining the distribution business processes of Windows, Surface, and Microsoft 365 Consumer products to optimize impact of Microsoft solutions and creating value to partners.
Additionally, Gwen’s passion for diversity and inclusion has cultivated a culture of growth and collaboration with Microsoft. Her leadership has been acknowledged with the latest CSO Culture Award Microsoft Champion Award 2022 and the CSO Customer Obsessed – Champion Award 2024.
Prior to Microsoft, she took on various roles from account management, product marketing, category management, to sales management in organizations like Canon Marketing, Persoft Systems, FirstTech Pacific, and Ingram Micro – building up over 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry.
Gwen graduated from the University of Southern Queensland with a Master of Business Administration. Outside of work, Gwen enjoys hiking and she has a profound appreciation for nature. She also enjoys travelling with her family and immersing herself in the different cultures of the world.
