Lucky Gani is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Microsoft in Malaysia. In this role, Lucky and his passionate team of technology changemakers are dedicated to empowering organizations in Malaysia to leverage new opportunities from defining technologies like AI for advancing their businesses and driving growth and innovation in the market.
Prior to this role, Lucky served as the Chief of Operations & Director of Marketing for Microsoft in Indonesia since 2020, where he was responsible for strategic planning and optimization of overall marketing activities and operations. He previously held a similar role with Microsoft Vietnam since 2018 and has also served as the Country Group Business Lead of Microsoft Indonesia since 2012.
Before joining Microsoft, Lucky worked in the automative industry for several years and later landed a role as the head of three divisions at 3M Indonesia in the areas of consumer, pharma manufacturing technology, and information systems.
Throughout his career, Lucky maintained a strong professional track record, being a two-time winner of the Microsoft Circle of Excellence Gold Glub and the Microsoft Platinum Circle of Excellence, Outstanding Achiever. In addition, Lucky is recognized as a Certified Professional Marketer (Asia), an award given by the Asia Marketing Foundation.
Lucky graduated from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia with a double bachelor’s degree in International Business and Management. In his free time, Lucky enjoys playing tennis, exploring different coffee varieties, and traveling.
