- The center is committed to the development of confidential hybrid cloud solutions to meet the data sovereignty and residency needs of public administrations and regulated companies, in compliance with the most demanding legal and technical requirements.
- The new hub will also provide services for its customers to achieve goals such as reducing operational costs of their tools or improving in terms of sustainability through the Application Migration and Modernization Factory to the Microsoft Azure cloud.
Microsoft and NTT DATA, the world’s sixth-largest IT services company, are boosting their strategic collaboration to provide confidential hybrid cloud solutions and services to migrate and optimize IT resources to the Microsoft cloud. In this way, they make available to both the public and private sectors an innovative set of state-of-the-art solutions to move towards a secure, efficient and customized digital transformation.
Both companies have been working hand in hand for years to achieve synergies that allow them to accelerate all the lines of joint work open and thus boost the time to market of the wide variety of solutions that both companies design to support their customers.
The next step in this collaboration materialized in the creation of the Microsoft Innovation Hub, located in the NTT DATA Living LAB in Barcelona, which receives more than 1,000 visits annually, and was conceived as a laboratory of ideas to promote innovation through co-creation with employees, customers, technology partners and the entrepreneurial and academic ecosystems.
The center, a benchmark within the Group, consolidates its position as a catalyst for long-standing synergies between NTT DATA and Microsoft, reinforcing the common strategies that the two organizations have built up over the past few years.
In this context, Alberto Granados, President of Microsoft Spain, and Sergi Biosca, CEO of NTT DATA Spain, have visited the NTT DATA Living Lab, to kick off this new hub of innovation in cloud technologies from Microsoft.

The goal of the Microsoft Innovation Hub is to become an essential pillar of the common strategy of both companies, applying high-impact solutions such as the Application Migration and Modernization Factory to Azure or the development of specific confidential hybrid cloud solutions for Public Administrations.
