GAC Business Solutions: Dutch SME Makes Global Business More Efficient

The SME receiving recognition for the month of February is GAC Business Solutions, a company founded in the Netherlands providing Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. Enterprise Resource Planning is a business process management software that allows organizations to use a system of integrated applications to manage their operations. This includes – manufacturing processes, inventory management, financial assessments, human resource management and more. GAC Business Solutions deploys Microsoft’s ERP solution, Dynamics NAV with Windows Azure’s cloud computing platform to help their clients increase efficiency and automate their operational processes.

 

By leveraging cloud-sourced ERP solutions and applications they help their clients eliminate the need to purchase and maintain servers; therefore, this cloud powered solution help reduce their clients’ overall operational expenditures. Moreover, they enable businesses to lead in a global market, as cloud computing provides the necessary resources for companies to respond real-time to customer and industry demands and from every type of mobile device.

In the deployment of enterprise resource planning, GAC Business Solutions has taken an innovative approach by going mobile. They have developed nine Windows 8.1 apps including the PSA+ Cashflow app, the Debt and Collectors app, and the Time Writers app. These apps give their clients a competitive advantage, as managers and employees can check on their operations, process data, and gain real-time access to information from any remote location. Roel Van Zon, GAC Business Solutions’ Commercial Manager, stated – “Using Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Windows Azure, SharePoint, and Windows App developer tools – they are able to deliver highly integrated solutions and apps with one look and feel”.

GAC Business Solutions has been the recipient of the President’s Club for Microsoft Dynamics Award since 2006. This award reflects on the company’s strive and reach in the Dutch market place as well as their innovative approach in going mobile with ERP solutions. GAC Business Solutions are the only Microsoft partner in the Netherlands that are building cloud-based applications using NAV and SharePoint platforms.

In the pipeline, GAC Business Solutions is currently working on the development of a new ERP solutions app. The company has also been receiving requests from existing customers to expand to international markets including Belgium, France, and the UK.
