Microsoft invests in new and expanded version of ‘Minecraft’ for the classroom, opens public preview of Learning Tools for OneNote

We all walk to our own beat and there’s no exception for the way we learn – no matter our age or where we live. Students tell me all the time – and I see it in action whenever I get to visit a classroom – that they learn best when given the freedom to learn at their own pace and in ways that are familiar to them. This could be by learning basic programming through a hands-on experience with micro.bits or by learning about other places and cultures in a connection through Skype. At Microsoft we think a lot about these individualized learning experiences and how immersive and inclusive technology can help empower every student on the planet to achieve more.
