Real Madrid C.F. and Microsoft launch an interactive audio guide to bring fans even closer to the Bernabéu

Real Madrid C.F. and Microsoft have revealed the first interactive audio guide for the club’s legendary Bernabéu stadium, allowing fans and visitors to experience the history of the club like never before.

The new app, powered by Microsoft technology in collaboration with Spanish mobile guide company GVAM, provides an immersive digital experience, allowing visitors to discover the club’s history, browse facts about the team and players, and relive memorable moments through photographs, historical documents, videos and match commentary.

The new Bernabéu Tour now includes previously unreleased material, including the best goals from recent seasons, player testimonials, and photographs which are unique to the new interactive audio guide. Infographics on the new stadium project and other multimedia resources are also available.

The audio guide offers three different itineraries, which are available in Spanish, English, German, French, Russian and Mandarin Chinese, along with support for subtitles. Users can also choose to use the new app as a traditional audio guide, minus the interactive elements, if they wish.

There are also plans to introduce virtual and mixed reality elements, along with new gaming content for further engagement with fans.

The launch of the new interactive audio guide for the Bernabéu Tour takes the collaboration between Real Madrid C.F. and official technology partner Microsoft towards their goal of transforming and enriching fans’ digital experiences:
