Mark Leigh

Vice President, Microsoft Frontier Company, Asia 

As Vice President, Sales & Strategic Partnerships for Asia, Mark strives to enable Asian businesses to evolve, disrupt and transform and ultimately tackle some of the most challenging issues facing them in the digital economy. Prior to this, Mark was General Manager of Microsoft’s ANZ Public Sector business, where he worked across all levels of government to help them apply technology to transform how they operate and deliver better services for, and on behalf of, citizens.  Mark is a Microsoft veteran, and has held numerous senior leadership roles within Microsoft ANZ, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Partner Officer, Specialist Sales Director, Midmarket and SMB Director and a range of other roles.

Prior to Microsoft, Mark was a resident of New York City where he was a founding employee of an internet messaging company, Easylink. Easylink grew to be a NASDAQ listed, 1,000+ employee enterprise servicing consumer and business markets with revenue in excess of $100m p.a.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Information Systems and a Postgraduate degree in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town. He lives in Sydney with his wife and two children.
